You copy and paste the part in the very first post, and you add on to it. Minimum is around 1 paragraph. Looking forward to reading from you!!

i didn't quite understand what you meant by posting "in character" but here's this.. its the first draft
Bella ran through the thick forest near the Cullen’s house with unbelievable ease. Bella was on a hunting trip and was enjoying every minute of it. She had just finished off an elk and was searching for more, thicker flesh that would quench her unbelievable thirst. She and Edward had decided that for the next few weeks they would hunt in shifts so one of them was always with Nessie. For her it felt good to get away, to be free, care free for a little while, but then again her motherly instincts always kicked in and reminded her that she needed to be with her daughter. Running faster and faster, Bella pushed herself further and further. She already had gotten an elk, but she was still thirsty since it had been a while since her last hunt. As she was sprinting, Bella suddenly spotted what she had been looking for. A mountain lion. It was a big one, but she knew she could tackle it. Bella observed it as the lion slinked across the tree across from her. Crouching, Bella’s lip curled back to reveal her glistening white teeth. Digging her hands into the ground Bella took one step back then sprang. Her aim was perfect. Bella slammed into the lion’s side and knocked it off the tree and into the nearby trunk of the next. The lion tried to struggle, but she had it pinned and dug her teeth into its neck. Bella bathed in the soothing taste of the blood and cleaned the lion dry. When she was finished, Bella wiped herself off and changed into the clean shirt she had brought along, knowing that her eating habits still could be improved. Bella still wasn’t nearly as clean as Edward, and she didn’t like showing that off. Throwing the other shirt into a tree, Bella decided it was time to go home. Deciding she would pass by the house to say hello to Alice and Jasper, Bella veered her course a little to accommodate her own request. As she grew nearer and nearer to the house, a fiery smell reached her nostrils. It was the smell she hated and loved. It was the smell that would always test her control. It was the smell of blood. Human blood. Flaring her nostrils Bella smelt the air once more and caught two specific scents. One she caught was a vampire that she didn’t really recognize. To her that meant nothing good. The other one scent was human and filled with a rose like smell that burned in Bella’s throat. Running faster to get past the scent Bella at that moment heard a piercing scream that could only belong to a human in pain And then her ears caught another sound, someone speaking, but she only caught one word. "Cullen!" She heard a low, menacing voice hiss. This made Bella's hair stand on end and would have made Bella’s heart stop if she still had one, and that fact pushed her on, in the opposite direction of which she intended.
As Bella was running all she could think about was Nessie and Edward. It has to be the Volturi she thought they've sent another vampire to get Edward. Just then something white flashed beside her and stopped in front of her . Bella had to leap up a tree to avoid crashing with it. "Hello Bella" a silk voice crooned. A tall ashen male sauntered in front of her. Bella noticed immediately that he had the characteristic crimson eyes of a “carnivorous” vampire. He started to walk closer to Bella. I'm surprised you aren't protected. The Vampire stopped in front of Bella. Bella stiffened and crouched into an attack position. "The Volturi has no business with Edward." "I'm not with the Volturi." The confused looked on his face almost made Bella believe he was being honest. "I'm sort of a "freelancer". He continued, balancing on a tree branch. "I've heard about the Cullens. I have much respect for the doctor. " Bella stood up but remained cautious and watched for signs of a surprise attack "I also heard that his son fell in love with a human and had a child. I would love to see this half-child" At this Bella growled. "I'm sorry, that is not possible." Bella turned around and begin to run back. The male was sprinting alongside her. "Are you going back? I'll just follow you." Bella shuddered. She couldn't go back now. Suddenly she had an idea. "Fine! Follow me then", she retorted. She changed paths and headed for the reservation. "What a beautiful night," Carlisle sighed. He and Esme were standing on the patio, looking out into the night. Carlisle squeezed Esme closer to him. Esme turned her head towards him and kissed him on the cheek. The full moon had risen and it spread its soft pallid glow on the forest. "Bella hasn’t come back yet" Carlisle mentioned." She usually is done by now." Just then they saw Edward speeding through the forest from his house. He saw Carlisle and Esme on the patio and with 2 fluid jumps he was right next to them. "Have you seen Bella? Alice told me she disappeared again. She and Jasper came over here after Bella left. I'm worried about Bella." Edward's usually calm face was creased with worry. "Bella hasn't come back yet", Carlisle answered, "we were just wondering about her. Where's Nessie?" "I brought her here. She's on my old bed. Please make sure she goes back to sleep." "I'm going out to look for Bella" Edward jumped off the patio and landed softly on the ground below. "Take Emmet with you," Carlisle called down to Edward. Edward grunted, "If I can get him away from the game." Carlisle grinned. "Come dear,". He wrapped his arm around Esme and pulled her towards the door. "It's time to be doting grandparents again." Esme smiled, "We had better hurry up, she is growing up fast." Carlisle laughed and waltzed Esme into the house.
"Hold up will you?" Emmet was running as fast as he could, trying to catch up with Edward. "Sorry," Edward slowed down and soon was running besides him. Bella had better really be in trouble, I was right on the interesting part of the game Emmet grumbled "Let's hope she isn't" Edward snapped. If she disappeared that probably means she went over to the reservation. Emmet changed the subject. Without warning Edward stopped and Emmet collided into Jacob. Vampire and Werewolf flew in opposite directions. Emmet did a back flip and landed next to where Jacob stopped rolling "Jacob!" Emmet exclaimed, " you want to be road kill? Thanks for the telling me Edward. Jacob was panting heavily; he shook the dirt off himself. Edward smirked then he turned to Jacob, "What are you doing here? What's wrong?" Jacob looked at Edward, The pack has been chasing a vamp all night. Sam says it isn't from around here. The leech has already killed 2 humans. How's Bella? "She didn't come back from her hunt. Alice lost her. We thought she was with you" Edward was now clearly uneasy. Jacob growled. I haven't seen her all night "Is it any of the Volturi?" Edward asked him, thinking of a reason why they would come. None that I recognize. Of course I have never seen them up close so don't take my word for it. Jacob got up and started to leave. All of a sudden he growled and sped off into the trees. Edward right behind him. Emmet struggled to keep up. "Where are we going?" Emmet asked. He hated it when Edward didn't tell him the other part of the one-sided conversation. Edward face had a horrified look, "Sam called him back, they found Bella."
