Okay, breaking nes. My mom is actually on Eclipse. And she is enjoying it. For those of you who don't know, I got my mom reading Twilight as sort of a challenge for myself. She's pretty much never read any books over 300 pages nor has she read any dark sort of stuff. SHe's into the gooey sappy romances that make me gag. When she first read Twilight, she thought it was really boring. SHe finished it loving the ending, thinking Stephanie could have cut out two-hundred pages, and grudginly asking for New Moon. That went the same way, until page 382. Then she loved it. She came into my room the morning after the night she reached tht page demanding Eclipse. Today she admitted to me that she thinks of vmpires whenever she hears so many songs. Like when Daughtry's song came one, "I'll Be Waiting" or whatever it's called, she was all "Oh, it's another vampire song". Her opinions on the characters: - Carlisle is her favorite character. Yes, of all of them, she chose Carlisle. Huh?
- She thinks Alice is a "dipping dot". That's sort of her term for rather, eh, ditzy? characters. I was all, "You read the end of New Moon and you thought Alice was a dipping dot?" But then, she thinks Bella, Esme, Edward, and Emmett are all dipping dots, and I don't think she was being totally serous when she called any of them so, so whatev. She likes them all, but she can't understand why I'm freakishly obsessed with Alice.
- She wants to give Stephanie some serious editorial advice.
Yeah. Just some news from my rambunctious little house in Littleton, Colorado. Where the vampires hae finally moved in. XD

Haha. My mum's going to read them when I actually get Twilight back off my friend, who's practically holding it hostage. My dad just started Eclipse yesterday and he likes all three so far. I'm not sure about his favourite characters or anything yet, he's decided he's going to wait 'till the end of Eclipse to decide who's his actual favourite... but my mum is starting to get really annoyed when we chat about it because she really wants to read but she can't yet.

I sort of threatened her to read it. Alice was my favorite by the end of Twilight, though halfway through Twilight I still didn't really know who I liked.

I didn't have to threaten really. It was more a case of 'Is that a good book then' "Yeah, it's really good. It's about... *long, convoluted explanation*" 'Oh, well, give it here when you're finished will you? I'll give it a go.' And then he read New Moon before I did!!

I forced my mom to read them after I convinced her in my "whole long explanation" about how the vampires were good and amazing and *sigh not real! lol After that she read New Moon then Eclipse and enjoyed them. I then got my brothers wife to read them and she gulped them up and really enjoyed them so...yay!

I was more like, "Okay, I finished this book and you are going to read it."

Awww, that's so cool you all got your parents to read it! My mom is like yours Orina. She doesn't really read much. It doesn't interest her. I'll give it a shot though and try to make her. ;D
I think a lot of moms would probably like Carlisle the best. He's older, handsome, very distinguished, kind...etc. He's such a mom character. lol. I love him too though. Carlisle rocks. ^_^
Maybe I should try that threatening tactic of yours Alice....lol.

well, let's hope that the movie is good. that's the only way to get my mom to read something; that's how she started harry potter. She wouldn't start Eragon though (because they messed that movie up too!!)
